DR. DARREN PERRY IS PROUD OF HIS KC ROOTS!

Dr. Perry was born and raised in the near the Plaza in Kansas City.  He attended Rockhurst High School and then the University of Missouri-Columbia on the C.O.P.S. Police Survivors Scholarship. The scholarship was established for the surviving children of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, in honor of his father’s service to the KCMO police department. He earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri- Kansas City in 2004.  Again, he received an academic scholarship during dental school from the American College of Dentists, for exemplifying excellence through outstanding leadership and exceptional contributions to dentistry and society.

Dr. Perry is a member of the American Dental Association and Missouri Dental Association. Dr. Perry has volunteered his skills through service and outreach in multiple outlets including the MDA’s Missouri Mission of Mercy, UMKC’s Dental Care with a Heart, Dental outreach to Venezuelan orphanage, Hope House dental service volunteering, and he was even featured on KCTV-5 Problem Solvers giving a KC woman back her smile! An active supporter of JDRF, Dr. Perry, and his family organize the Parkville Colour Run to help raise over $15,000 for Type 1 Diabetes research.
